I love the outdoors, but when I first hunted waterfowl, I soon grew weary of wading through mud, cattails, and frigid water to retrieve my own birds. When I first went hunting with friends that owned retrievers, I realized there could be no other way to hunt waterfowl. When my first Labrador pup, that I trained, retrieved his first duck, I knew that was what it was all about. Today, Labrador Retrievers are the most popular breed in the United States and have been since 1992. Our dogs are sound, athletic, and love to hunt waterfowl and upland game even in difficult winter conditions that we experience in Idaho. Notwithstanding the toughness of our dogs, they are also intelligent and friendly.
